Northwestern University’s Lab for Scalable Mental Health is proud to present:

The 5th International Single Session Therapies Symposium (SST5),

June 27-29 2025

We are excited to host you in Chicago at the Hyatt Centric Chicago Magnificent Mile, with selected clinical workshops taking place at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine.

Attendees will learn from experts across sectors (research, industry, nonprofits, policy), network with leaders from around the world, and work to bridge gaps in mental healthcare systems globally.

SST5 Theme:

scaling up single-session approaches for population mental health

SST5 will catalyze connection, collaboration, and innovation in the science and practice of scalable, single-session approaches. The Symposium will feature presentations from single-session experts and emerging leaders across the globe and across multiple sectors (academia, clinical practice, policy, industry). Research talks, implementation workshops, and clinical demonstrations and trainings will cover the design, evaluation, dissemination of single-session approaches across diverse settings——including primary care, schools, popular online platforms, walk-in and by-appointment mental health clinics, and emergency settings. SST5 will also offer training and continuing education opportunities for students and mental health professionals.

Together, SST5 attendees will help realize the promise of single-session approaches to democratize access to mental health care for all.

SST5 is presented by:
