Hardware Purchases
SPS employees receive a work computer that meets the recommended requirements for that specific user. We’ve set standard hardware specifications for acquiring new computers. If a unique configuration is required, we will make recommendations after consulting with the user, their manager, and considering budget constraints.

Software Purchases
Northwestern has a wide variety of software available for students, faculty, and staff. Some software is available at no additional charge, but other programs require the purchase of a license. If you are a staff or faculty member interested in a software license, please submit a support ticket or email sps-it@northwestern.edu.
