Guidelines for Digital Signage
Digital signage within the School of Professional Studies offers a platform to promote Northwestern events, student groups, and select university announcements. For more information on how to post a digital signage ad, please refer to the guidelines below.
Please adhere to the following guidelines for signage files, slides will be shown for up to 30 seconds each:
- File Format: JPG, PNG, and GIF
- Size: 1920px X 1080px
- Orientation: Horizontal and vertical accepted
- Quality: Blurry or low-resolution files will not be accepted
- QR Codes are required for links to event information or forms
- Please keep the text to a minimum, focusing on the key information:
- the event title and/or speaker
- the date and time
- the location
Submitting Your Ad
Submit all ads to: sps-it@northwestern.edu. Include the following details in the body of the email, do not add files to the email body, only submit files as an attachment.
- School and department or organization
- Official event name
- Time frame on signage (Start and end dates)
- Attached files
Note: SPS IT will not modify or make changes to the submitted files. Please check spelling, orientation and image quality before sending your files. Incomplete files will not be accepted.
