Minimum Hardware Specifications
To successfully complete the assignments and activities in the Master of Science in Data Science Program or Master of Science in Health Analytics Program, you must use a laptop or desktop computer that meets the following specifications:
- Processor: Intel® Core™ i7 Processor
- Operating System: Windows 11 64-bit Professional
- Memory: 16.0GB RAM
- Hard Drive: 500GB Solid state disk (SSD)
- Graphics: Integrated video card
- Keyboard: Wireless English Keyboard
- Pointing Device: Wireless Mouse
- Ports: USB 3.0, HDMI, Additional adapters as needed
- Network: Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11a/b/g/n wireless, Bluetooth 4.0
- Webcam
- Capable of installing Docker Desktop. Refer to installation requirements for Mac and Windows.
Note: SPS IT does not recommend using a Mac because they do not support all software used by MSDS classes.
