Savannah Zhou
Year/Major: Third-year majoring in Mathematics, Economics, and Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences
How long have you worked with Distance Learning?: I have been working with the Distance Learning team for about a month now, and it’s been wonderful!
What’s your favorite part of your job? Getting to meet and work with everyone on the team! Everyone has been so friendly and fun to work with, I always look forward to my shifts! The work and projects I’m able to help with are also very meaningful and impactful, which is also one of my favorite aspects.
Favorite place on campus: Definitely the lakefill area. During the day, when the sun shines and glimmers over the lake, it’s a wonderful place to exercise and hang out with friends. In the evening, hearing the sounds of the waves, the lakefill is a place I can truly think, immerse myself in my thoughts, and reflect.
What’s something you do for fun?: One of my favorite things to do is to take photographs of the various sights and wonders throughout the day. It can be a beautiful flower, the sunset, the lake, train tracks, fruit that has a slight glimmer when the sun shines on it…I find that photography is great at capturing our life and preserving our memories.
