We are excited to share two open positions in the Northwestern University’s School of Professional Studies (SPS) Office of Distance Learning: Director of Online Program Development and Learning Designer (three vacancies). Ideal candidates for both positions will bring experience and a passion for innovation in online teaching and learning. Our office is located on the Northwestern University Loop campus, in the heart of Chicago’s financial district.
The Director of Online Program Development will oversee all aspects of online program development, online faculty training programs, and the creation of systems for evaluating course quality, and student learning. The Director of Online Program Development will serve on the leadership team of the Office of Distance Learning. The Learning Designer position will assist faculty in the design of online and blended courses. This role collaborates with faculty, learning technologists, content specialists, and interface designers to create courses.
