Welcome to Northwestern’s Feminist Campus Tour, developed by the Women’s Center in 2020 – 2021. This tour serves as a natural extension of the mission of the Women’s Center to advance gender equity and inclusion at Northwestern.
On this tour we celebrate the scholars, activists, students, staff, and faculty who have moved this institution forward. The tour is far from exhaustive. We hope it will grow in coming years, both through the addition of more historical points of interest and in the making of history here on campus as new sites of feminist growth and empowerment take their place.
Before You Go. . .
- The tour is available as a GPS self-guided audio tour.

- The full tour takes about one hour and five minutes, beginning at the Women’s Center and concluding at the Women’s Residential College.
- Traveling by suggested route, the full walk is roughly 2.8 kilometers or 1.7 miles.
- The tour directions follow routes which do not include stairs or do have a ramp or lift available.
