Alumni Celebration

SPFIF’s Spring Alumni Celebration & Fundraiser is hosted every year to support and honor public interest law students and alumni from Northwestern. The event honors and celebrates alumni with outstanding contributions to public service and the legal community. The proceeds from the Alumni Dinner benefit NLaw students who intern at public interest internships each summer or are preparing to take the bar exam prior to the start of their public interest employment. To get involved with the Alumni Celebration or for more information, please email Raika or Gunhee.

This year SFPIF is putting on our spring event as a celebration of the Northwestern Law public interest community in all of its forms: for prospective students following their dreams of making a difference through law, current students pursuing a career dedicated to the public, young alumni excelling in the field, and for our distinguished alumni who have spent their career advocating for others.

This event is sponsored by the Student Funded Public Interest Fellowship Program (SFPIF) at the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law. The Public Service Benefit Event celebrates the Northwestern public interest community while investing in its future. Proceeds will provide Len Rubinowitz Public Interest Fellowship grants for law students who work in unpaid public interest jobs over the summer.

Since 2004, the Public Service Benefit Event has provided a forum for SFPIF to celebrate the achievements of our Northwestern Law alumni. Distinguished Alumni honorees are selected for their outstanding contributions to public service and the legal community over the course of their careers. Young Alumni honorees are chosen for their demonstrated commitment to public interest law early in their careers. This year we are honoring the following distinguished and young alumni:
