Administrative Core

The Administrative Core ensures seamless collaboration and integration across its multidisciplinary teams to study host-pathogen interactions in severe pneumonia. By leveraging high-throughput multi-omics and mathematical modeling, the Admin Core employs an iterative approach to refine experiments and insights. The Administrative Core’s primary goal is to facilitate these efforts while ensuring data dissemination to the broader pneumonia and infectious diseases research community.

Admin core aims at

  1. Coordinating communication between investigators, core leaders, U19 centers, and NIAID program staff.
  2. Managing common resources, regulatory oversight, and budgetary and personnel support for smooth project execution.
  3. Disseminating discoveries through publications, presentations, and public repositories following FAIR principles.
  4. Promoting interdisciplinary collaboration and mentoring trainees to expand the application of systems biology approaches to pneumonia, infectious diseases, and critical illnesses.
