I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Schatz Group working on problems ranging from qubit design to metals separation using a variety of computational methods (primarily based on but not limited to electronic structure theory). I am especially interested in anything that involves charge, spin, or energy transfer.
I grew up in Kolkata, India where I studied at the University of Calcutta and Jadavpur University before moving to USA for graduate school. I received my PhD in 2020 from Yale University under the supervision of Prof. Victor Batista studying electron transfer in weakly coupled systems. I have learnt a few things and won a few awards in the process.
Outside of work I do photography, paint, play some random instruments and a few different sports. I enjoy good books and good company, and absolutely hate broccoli.
