Zeynab Mousavikhamene

I am a PhD student of Chemical Engineering in the Schatz group. I received my BSc from Amirkbair University of technology and MSc from Sharif University of Technology both in Chemical Engineering. During my master study, I worked on magnetic drug-loaded polymeric particles for the application in a transscleral drug delivery system (US patent10058505B2). Prior to PhD studying, I worked in Tera-print nanotechnology startup lead by Dr. Chad Mirkin. My current research focuses on mechanical behavior of polymers using finite element modeling as well as molecular dynamics simulations and application of machine learning techniques in the biological systems. In my spare time, I enjoy travelling, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
