ME AND MORE …

I studied solid state Physics at the University of Tehran, and then I enrolled in the Seismology program at the Institute of Geophysics, University of Tehran. I am pursuing toward the doctoral degree under supervision of Emile A. Okal at Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences, Northwestern University (Evanston, IL).

Programming Abilities:
FORTRAN, UNIX shell scripting, LATEX (familiar with C, python and MATLAB)

Languages:
– Fluent in English, Farsi
– Fair in Arabic
– Familiar with Aramaic, Sumerian, Avestan and Latin

I spend my spare time:
– Studying ancient (preferably dead!) languages.
– Watching movies (here is a list of some of the movies I have watched and what I think about them)
– Playing around with data visualization techniques.
