In this project, The Maine Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) carried out the Transition Work-Based Learning (TWBL) Model Demonstration project in partnership with its implementing partners, including Jobs for Maine’s Graduates (JMG), the Council of State Administrators of Vocational Rehabilitation (CSAVR), and the Institute for Community Inclusion (ICI) at the University of Massachusetts Boston. In 2016, the Maine DVR received a 5-year grant for the TWBL project from the U.S. Department of Education’s Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA). The goal of the project was to implement and provide work-based learning (WBL) experiences for transition-age youth with disabilities.
