For this project, I had trouble finding sounds because I needed to find modern or new sounds for this old arcade game. I chose an old arcade game that got turned into a 4k video to match the new modern sound. In the game, you play a police officer who chases down a bad guy in a sports car. The game aims to catch the bad guy and crash into him multiple times so you can destroy his car. Like I said finding sounds was very hard so I included my car under the tunnel to match the game when the car goes into the tunnel. I also tried to add helicopter sounds when it was flying over the car. I also tried to match the drifts and include a drifting sound whenever the car drifts. I think that was the hardest part. I used many different sounds in this project. This project taught me how to match sounds perfectly with what is going on in the video. It also tested my patience because I had to keep fixing all the small mili-second mistakes as well. Regardless this project was very fun to make and work on I learned a lot of new things and I am proud of the outcome.
I chose a Mortal Kombat fight scene and added retro sounds like the fire explosion and the hits as well. I also added sounds for the ice and the boat in the end while it was hitting the wood platform.
For this project finding the right sounds was very hard I tried my best to fit the sounds to match everything happening in the video. I used a lot of sounds and sound effects to make it what it is right now. Something challenging was stopping at each second to see what I could add sound-wise and what would sound good at that second. I enjoyed piecing it together bit by bit and seeing the progress as I was going. It was tough to find the sound of the needle for the compass moving but in the end, I used the sound of a soda can after it was opened. I had to slow down many of the sounds to make them fit well. I decided to keep the music in the background because I felt it added a nice touch to it as well as I did not want the video to just be sound effects that would have not sounded nice at all. I had to play with the volume of each sound to make sure nothing was too loud or too low. I enjoyed this project more than the first one because I got to choose the video that I wanted to sound design. I feel like My choices were perfect for this video they fit well and make the sound design way better than the original which was only the music.

I tried my best to match the actions with what I felt were the right sounds from the guns in the back to all of the major blasts. I also added music to the background because I saw it as a trailer. The scene was a battle in the world of Star Wars. There are major actions when they are falling or even getting hit by a bomb. I edited the whole video instead of just editing part of it. I learned a lot from this experience and enjoyed it as well.
