The P&A Member of the Week (PAMoW) initiative was meant to help create an inclusive environment in the P&A department where everyone feels welcome. Everyone in this department has had different experiences growing up, navigating schoolwork, work and a personal life, gaining interest in physics/astronomy/physics and astronomy, and so much more. It is hard to feel welcome and included in a room full of strangers. The idea behind the PAMoW interviews was that we stop being just a bunch of faces to each other and learn a bit about our diverse collection of backgrounds. This initiative began during the COVID-19 pandemic. Although the initiative was short lived I hope these interviews serve to remind you all that the people around you are really interesting and it is worth getting to know them! 🙂
