Scott Ogawa has taught Introductory and Intermediate Microeconomics since 2013. Within the economics department he also teaches the Economics of Education and Experimental Economics. He has also been an instructor in the Kellogg School of Management and the School of Education and Social Policy. He currently serves on the AP Microeconomics development committee.
Scott Ogawa’s research focuses on the economics of education and the decisions of students and teachers. He has applied the techniques of experimental economics to ask whether students who pay more for their education put forth more effort. More generally, he is interested in the behavioral effects of price on product utilization.
