Research & Teaching Support

If this initial list of resources has intrigued you about the possibilities of incorporating a research project into your course which would build upon these or other themes in The Night Watchman, the Libraries is ready to assist you!

Research Assistance

Librarians offer immediate research assistance in person or via live chat, on the phone and via email. For an in-depth research consultation, complete an online Appointment Request Form or contact a Subject Librarian directly.  Faculty are welcome to add this information to their course syllabus.

Teaching Support

In addition to resources (not all of which can be listed on this guide) the Libraries provides technology, professional staff, and facilities to enrich teaching and promote student learning.  Our instruction includes customized activities that facilitate classroom discussion, student-led inquiry, and critical thinking.  Specialized instruction on citation management, digital humanities and digital publishing tools, geographic information systems (GIS) software, or social science data analysis software is also available.

To request instruction

Contact your subject librarian to talk about ways you can teach with the Libraries, or complete the instruction request form to get started.
