CAPS is here to support you every step of the way!  Our Fall Quarter programming focuses on building resilience, cultivating authentic connection with others, and moving towards collective healing.

Workshops and gathering spaces are not therapy groups and they are not intended as a treatment for mental health concerns. If you are interested in therapy services, please click here to schedule a consultation with a CAPS counselor.

Wellness at NU

Eight Dimensions of Wellness
Wellness means overall well-being.
Experiencing well-being encompasses more than just physical health and in fact consists of eight interconnected dimensions, all critical to thriving both at and outside of academic work.

Health Promotion and Wellness (HPaW)

Health Promotion and Wellness is the primary provider of health promotion, education, and prevention programs and services on alcohol, other drugs, and wellness issues for Northwestern University students. Organizationally, HPaW is a part of the Northwestern University Health Service, a AAAHC-accredited health care facility.

 

 

PhD Balance

Formerly The PhDepression, PhD Balance is community of PhD students from around the world changing the narrative around mental health and graduate school. The mission of PhD Balance is to provide honest stories from community members and curate resources with advice about strategies, yoga, mindfulness and more.
