In summer 2022, high school students, Ahmed Abukar, Warda Aftab, and Andrew Green, from the Chicago Math and Science Academy participated in the first ever year of NURPH, conducting cutting-edge materials science research with graduate student mentors.
The students presented their efforts and achievements in a poster session at the end of the program, attended by colleagues, faculty, and students from the NU Materials Science and Engineering department, and family.
