Our Program

In an effort to elevate early STEM education, NURPH offers a paid seven-week, comprehensive materials research experience for underserved high school students. Students work directly on faculty-sponsored projects, with the mentorship of a senior graduate student to develop hands-on laboratory skills. Alongside the research, classes taught by graduate students provide foundational skills for STEM topics, data analysis, and technical writing. At the conclusion of the program, students are well equipped to tackle competitive college applications in STEM.
