Our Program

To elevate early STEM education, NURPH offers a paid seven-week, comprehensive materials research experience for underserved high school students. Students work directly on faculty-sponsored projects, with the mentorship of graduate students to develop hands-on laboratory skills. Alongside the research, classes taught by graduate students provide foundational skills for STEM topics, data analysis, and technical writing. By the conclusion of the program, students are well-equipped to tackle competitive college applications in STEM.
