The Northwestern University Robotics Club Lacrosse Goalie Team (affectionately known as NURCLAX) is an interdepartmental team of undergraduates focused on developing a vision-tracking lacrosse goalie. The team is split into mechanical and electrical/software engineering groups that are building a stationary robot that is capable of tracking a moving ball and positioning a lacrosse stick to any location within the plane of the face of a standard lacrosse goal to catch it. As a project that has spanned several years, most McCormick majors, and all levels of experience, NURCLAX welcomes any new members interested.
