Gain Leadership Experience on One of Our Subcommittees
Interested in getting more involved with NUPA, but not sure if this is for you? Join a NUPA subcommittee! Subcommittee members contribute to idea generation and event implementation for the various activities of NUPA. Time commitments are flexible and up to each individual member.
Current subcommittees include:
– Social Committee: This committee is involved in the planning and implementation of community building activities for NUPA, including (but not limited to) pub nights, games nights, book club, and wellness activities.
– Professional Development Committee: This committee in involved with the planning and implementation of professional development and career-focused activities for NUPA, including (but not limited to) workshop & seminar series, career panels, and invited speakers.

Attend NUPA-Wide Planning Meetings
Our association is a great way to meet similarly minded postdocs – especially if you just moved here! You can always join our ongoing efforts and we can help you organize a fun activity to explore your new city or to continue a hobby that needs others.
ALL Northwestern Postdocs are invited to join our planning meetings which take place every other Wednesday at 12 PM CT on Zoom.
