Shareni Jeyamogan, PhD
Shareni Jeyamogan is from Malaysia, a postdoctoral research fellow at Department of Surgery, Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, and is currently serving as the External Communications Coordinator for NUPA. Her research focuses on developing innovative strategies to induce immune tolerance, utilizing exosomes and regulatory cells (e.g. Tregs, Dendritic Cells). Driven by the passion to overcome the challenges faced by the transplant community, Shareni aims to translate groundbreaking discoveries into impactful therapeutic solutions that enhance the success rate and outcomes in the field of transplantation.
Beyond her research, Shareni is committed to mentoring young scientists and fostering collaborative partnerships to advance the field of transplant immunology. She actively shares her knowledge through publications and presentations at national meetings. As the External Communications Coordinator for NUPA, Shareni is dedicated to inspiring others and driving positive change within the community.
