Here for You Since 2012
We formed in 2012 as Northwestern University Postdoctoral Forum (NUPF). In September 2018, in recognition of our organization’s growth and development beyond a forum, we changed our name to Northwestern University Postdoctoral Association (NUPA).
NUPA is Northwestern’s first and only postdoctoral organization. Once every two weeks, we work with administrators in Northwestern’s Graduate School and Office of Postdoctoral Affairs to advocate for postdoc needs, plan activities, and build community among postdocs. We negotiate our budget semi-annually with the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs.
We are an affiliate member of the National Postdoc Association, and our members can benefit from their resources.
