Northwestern University's Architecture

Over the course of its 150-year history, Northwestern University’s campuses have held over 125 buildings designed by architects with local and national reputations. A number of these buildings are long gone; many have undergone renovations and additions, or have changed their function; new buildings have been added. The purpose of the Northwestern Architecture site is to serve as an authoritative resource for information on individual buildings and other campus features on the Evanston and Chicago campuses. Drawing on resources in the University Archives, the Northwestern Architecture site provides information and images relating to 27 sites, including structures, landmarks, and the campuses themselves.
