Anne d’Aquino

Anne d’Aquino is a PhD candidate in the Interdisciplinary Program in Biological Sciences (IBiS) at Northwestern University. Anne’s research aims to understand and engineer the protein synthesis machine of the cell: the ribosome. She is a recipient of an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship, a Ryan Fellowship, a Molecular Biophysics Training grant, and is a Northwestern University Presidential Fellow. Prior to Northwestern, Anne received her BSc in Biochemistry and a minor in mathematics from Western Washington University.
