It has been over one month since protests erupted in Lebanon on the night of October 17, 2019. The revolutionary wave continues to grow day by day to include wider sectors of society from different religions and ethnicities that are all coming together for one common purpose. Protesters keep surprising everyone as they lead a popular uprising that has swept across the country — breaking taboos, stereotypes, and the centrality of Beirut, being the only city given importance in the Lebanese political, economic and cultural narrative.
