What is the purpose of the Northeast Area Council?
Area Councils enhance the residential experience by:
- engaging the population through social and recreational programming
- providing leadership opportunities within Northwestern’s Leadership Framework
Additionally, Area Councils work to:
- develop student-centered programming aligned with the Area Leadership Team’s vision for the area
- promote affinity for the residential area
- ensure resident involvement within the residential area
- facilitate inter-area cooperation
