The Northeast Area Experience
Living in the Northeast Area has lots of advantages. You literally can’t live any closer to Henry Crown if you want to work out. Sargent is the most popular dining hall with great food. Noyes Street has everything you might need when what you really want is a short walk and the feeling of being in town. Of course, if you’re short on time and energy, Lisa’s Cafe has you covered almost any time of day.
The Northeast Area in Photos
Students, families, and alumni who want to feel connected to the Northeast Area can keep up with us on Instagram. We’ll provide a steady diet of pictures of what is going on, including flyers for upcoming programs and photos of events. For those into nostalgia, don’t miss #ThrowbackThursday images from our friends in University Archives. And, for anyone who likes puzzlers, we’ll be posting beautiful architectural pictures of the area’s buildings and common spaces. The catch? We’re zooming in so followers don’t have much context for identifying them. Think you know campus like the back of your hand? Step right up and take a guess!
COVID-19 Housing Information
The area website will continue to be a source of area-specific information for all first- and second-year students affiliated with the Northeast Area, regardless of where they are living in 2020-21. Students living on campus should also refer to the COVID-19 Housing website, which has regularly updated service and resource information from Residential Services.
