Research Interests
Lindsay started participating in research as an undergraduate student at UCLA where she conducted gait analysis research for various neurologic populations, including spinal cord injury and cerebral palsy. Ever since these experiences, she has been fascinated with not only gait analysis, but how gait changes after a neurologic injury, the body’s natural adaptations, and how the interventions therapists use can impact a patient’s gait pattern. Recently, Lindsay has become more interested in protocol for gait training individuals with a lower motor neuron spinal cord injury, as well as individuals with severe traumatic brain injury.
