Kyle Dobson, Graduate Research Fellow

Kyle Dobson is a PhD candidate in the Management & Organizations Department in the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern. His research studies how the way we view ourselves affects the way we connect with others, with a focus on feeling authentic, feeling human, non-romantic relationships, and empathy. As a mixed methods researcher, he begins with qualitative immersion, conducts experiments and surveys, and ends with intervention development. His work with N3 focuses on how police view themselves, their mental health, and the way this affects the way they connect with others in and out of the uniform. Kyle also has expertise in the reality TV show “Survivor”, Pok√©mon, and comic books.
