Academia-Industry Workshop Sponsored by the National Science Foundation
Northwestern Unversity and Anton Paar USA will hold a 1-day webinar focused on Multiscale Surface Characterization, Nanoscience, and Materials Behavior. The ultimate goal of this summit is to inform and inspire present and future leaders while recognizing excellence across the fields of applied sciences, engineering, and physical sciences.
The first edition of the workshop will be a virtual webinar that will take place on October 14th 2020 via Webex. Registration is required to attend. The deadline to register is September 21st 2020.
Student Presentation Contest
We will hold a student presentation contest. To be considered for the contest, students must submit an abstract for a 5-min presentation when they register. The presentations will be judged by a panel of scientists from both industry and academia. The presentations will be based on the clarity and the soundness of the content and on the quality of the delivery. The prizes will be announced by email after the workshop.
