Breakfast outing with 2023 summer research interns

Zachary Heidrick presented a research poster (“Approaches for identifying, engaging, and supporting champions in implementation science in cancer prevention and control”) at the 2023 Research Day (Feinberg School of Medicine). As a M1 Feinberg student, Mr. Heidrick completed his project through the independent Area of Scholarly Concentration (AOSC) and Summer Research Scholars Program. 

Lance Choi presented a research poster (“Disparities in optimal patient-centered communication experienced by Asian American cancer survivors”) at the 2023 Research Day (Feinberg School of Medicine). As an undergraduate student, Mr. Choi completed an internship with Dr. Vu through the 2023 Summer Internship Grant Program (Northwestern University). 

Tara Chen and Cindy Khuc presented a research poster (“‘You want to treat all patients the same… but it’s important to know where someone is coming from’ – Providers’ perspectives on culturally-relevant sexual and reproductive healthcare for refugee women) at the 2023 Research Day (Feinberg School of Medicine). As undergraduate students, they both completed internships with Dr. Vu through the 2023 Summer Internship Grant Program (Northwestern University).
