About

I’m a Post-Doctoral scholar candidate in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of California, San Diego in the Laboratory of Aging Bilingualism. My main research interest is trying to better understand bilingual language processing. I am currently working on my doctoral thesis, which explores how the variation in language experiences and attitudes that Spanish heritage speakers in the U.S. have affects their speech perception. Some of my other interests include bilingual speech production, bilingual language control, individual differences, and L2 acquisition.
