Masters P&O Research

The Northwestern University Prosthetics-Orthotics Center hosts the Feinberg School of Medicine Masters in Prosthetics and Orthotics Research (MPO-R) degree program that provides dual training in prosthetics and orthotics clinical practice and  research. This first-of-its-kind program will produce the new generation of P&O clinician-scientists by building on the foundational knowledge of the Masters in Prosthetics and Orthotics clinical education program with advanced training in clinical biostatistics, clinical trial design, and rehabilitation research methods. Students are expected to complete and defend a dissertation to graduate from the MPO-R. Graduates will be prepared to assume roles within the prosthetics and orthotics profession that require clinical and research expertise and apply this research experience to continuing their higher education journey towards a doctorate. We are currently accepting applications for enrollment.
