David Sun is a rising sophomore at Northwestern University studying journalism, economics, and history and minoring in chemistry. This year he will be working with Professor Ogundiran on “The Chemistry of History: Technology, Mobility, and Trade in West Africa, 400 BC-AD 1830.” He is especially interested in how chemical techniques can be applied to historical research. He is a Leopold Fellow at Chabraja Center for Historical Studies.
