Why I engage with policymakers and the public

One of my goals as a scholar is to share my research and the insights I’ve gained through the study of political science with policymakers and the community. I hope that my research can help elected officials make policy decisions and help members of the public better understand partisan conflict in contemporary politics (and what can be done about it).  I welcome the opportunity to write about or comment on my research, and to speak with policymakers and the public.
