Embedding Images

To embed an image into a post or page, click the “Add Media” button.

At this point, you may choose to Upload Files or select an image from the Media Library.

 

Upload Files

  1. In the “Insert Media” menu, click “Upload Files”
  2. In the “Insert Media” popup, you may drag and drop an image, or click “Select Files” to locate a file on your device for upload.
  3. Once you’ve uploaded an image, you will be able to make adjustments to how the image displays.
    • Under “Attachment Details” you can make adjustments to various attributes:
      • Title
      • Caption
      • Alt Text
      • Description
    • Under “Attachment Display Settings” you can adjust how your image will appear in your content. You can adjust:
      • Alignment – How the image aligns with your text content
      • Link To – Set a destination URL if a user clicks on the image
      • Size – How large should this image appear.
  4. When finished, click “Insert Into Page”

 

Media Library

  1. In the “Insert Media” menu, click “Media Library”
  2. At this point, you may click to select an image to insert into your page or post.
  3. Adjust the attachment display settings and click “Insert Into Page”
