About me

I am a PhD candidate in the Department of Linguistics at Northwestern University. I am interested in the use of natural language processing models and statistical tools in the investigation of how the human brain solves problems of language comprehension and production. One of my ongoing projects seeks to use NLP to better understand the mechanism of perceptual adaptation to foreign-accented speech.

I am also a Lead Quantitative Researcher – NLP at Vail Systems. I conduct research in NLP to better codify and extract meaning from multiple communication modalities. I build new and improve existing models in affective computing using state of the art machine learning techniques.
