The INMRI group at Northwestern conducts precision MRI research to understand and improve electrical neuromodulation therapies. Our studies encompass several topics spanning:

  • mental health and depression
  • chronic idiopathic tinnitus
  • noninvasive transcranial electrical stimulation technologies (including transcranial direct current stimulation, or tDCS)
  • electroconvulsive therapy
  • best practices in connectomic research using fMRI

Our research is generously supported by the National Institutes of Health, American Tinnitus Association, and Brain and Behavior Research Foundation.
