Location and hours
Inescapable Truths is on display in two locations: Level 4 of Northwestern University Library and Dittmar Gallery in the Norris University Center. Both locations are on the Evanston campus of Northwestern University, across Campus Drive from each other. They are west of Sheridan Road, north of Emerson Street, and south of Noyes Street.

Parking
Visitors to the Evanston campus may park at the North or South parking garages. Check the parking site for daily rates and details on obtaining a visitors permit at the Evanston Campus Parking Services Office.
The closest garage to the exhibit sites is the South parking garage, adjacent to the Segal Visitors Center.
Accessibility
Accessible parking
Five designated accessible parking spaces are located in the Locy parking lot. Accessible parking space are also available at the South Campus Parking Garage.
Visitors with license plates or placards from a government agency may park in designated ADA spaces or at parking meters at no charge.
University Library entrance
Accessible automatic doors are located at the north and south sides of the University Library entrance. Both entrances feature an elevator. Staff at the welcome desk are available to assist you.
Dittmar Gallery entrance
An elevator is across from the gallery entrance. Enter the Ground Floor of Norris (entrance facing south/Bienen or entrance facing north) and then take the elevator from the Ground Floor up to Floor 1. Accessible automatic doors are located at the north and south entrances to the Ground Floor.
Augmented reality
The augmented reality activation requires a mobile device with an internet connection that can read a QR code. The activated artwork has visual and audio components.
Masking
Masks are optional in all campus spaces.
Content warning
The video clips in the AR experience are from Foley’s raw footage. What he captured is sometimes graphic and violent. Each painting includes specific content warnings where applicable. We recognize that the content may be triggering for some people.
