Augmented reality

This exhibit was developed in part by Medill students through the Northwestern University Knight Lab, an interdisciplinary lab class focused on the intersection of technology and storytelling. The augmented reality elements of this exhibit, designed by Tactic Studio, represent the beginnings of a new age of experiential storytelling characterized by multisensory, immersive experiences.

There are a total of 21 works that include augmented reality in Inescapable Truths. To preview the activation of three such artworks with AR, scan the QR code here with a mobile device and then point your device’s camera at an artwork below to activate the experience.
