New digital exhibit on Black political history by Kate Masur and graduate students

Kate Masur has collaborated with a team of researchers and digital humanities experts, among them Northwestern graduate students Hope McCaffrey, Emiliano Aguilar, Mikala Stokes, and Marquis Taylor, to document Illinois’ first statewide Black political conference in an exciting digital exhibit. The history project profiles 25 antebellum activists engaged in the struggle for racial justice. Read the Northwestern Now story for more on this exciting project.
