On Wednesday, May 31st, five undergraduate members of the Hartmann lab presented at the 2017 Undergraduate Research Expo. Two different posters were presented: Amy Eckland presented on her individual research project while Taylor Brown, Huseyin Demir, Michelle Guo, and David Park presented about the work the undergraduates have been doing as a whole.

Each group set up in the second floor of the student center and presented to students, professors, and judges for an hour and a half. The students were also able to look at the research other students were doing. While no awards were won, all of the students learned how to create scientific posters, present to judges, and design visuals to represent the data collected in lab. The Hartmann lab is ready to come back with even better posters and research next year!
