Congratulations to Ting Lu and Mircea Mihalache, who graduated with M.S. degrees in June 2018. Ting’s thesis is entitled Failure Envelopes for an Embedded Plate in Plastic Material, and Mircea’s thesis is entitled A Conditional Linear Diffusion Model for Efficient Avalanching Simulations.
