Aloysious and Abby Luswata founded the Adonai Center for Child Development in 2005 and they were the lovely host family to our 2013 GROW trip team. Exceedingly kind and humble people, they are a well-respected family in Namugoga. Meet the Luswatas and their beautiful children.
- Aloysious Luswata is the director of the Adonai Center for Child Development and pastor of Victors Church in Namugoga.
- Aloysious’ congregation attracts villagers of all ages. He is a community leader that provides moral, educational and financial guidance.
- Abby Luswata is the headmistress of Adonai. Her office is located near the newly constructed Adonai preschool.
- Abby
- Emmanuel Luswata, nicknamed Emma, is Abby and Aloysious’ 11-year-old son. He attends Adonai and likes participating in humorous skits to welcome visitors.
- Here, Emma is playing during a field day organized by the Allwright family who are in charge of the child sponsorship program in the UK.
- Nobel-Grace Luswata is a goofball and really loves to dance.
- Nobel was oftentimes sick with Malaria during the GROW team’s visit, unfortunately, which made him tired and listless. Whenever Nobel was feeling well he would do all sorts of mischievous things.
- Janet Luswata is a very sweet girl. Her best friends are Nobel and Simon.
- A rare but stunning smile from Janet!
- Simon was living with the Luswatas during the 2013 GROW trip. He is a big ball of energy and loves to play soccer and dance. Simon is an orphan and he was recovering from tuberculosis over the summer.
- A thank you dinner from the GROW team to the Luswata family and teacher Gideon on one of our last days in Uganda.
Thanks..
