La Barceloneta Beach in Barcelona. Despite it nearing the end of October, Barcelona still exhibits warm temperatures and swarms of locals and tourists at their beaches. When I was sitting down on the sand and observing a group of friends playing soccer, I also witnessed a marriage proposal a few feet away from me. The music playing from the speakers of the locals allowed me to reflect on life and forget my troubles while I was there 🙂

The beautiful sunset off the coast of Mallorca, Spain! It’s pure innocence and serenity is second to none. The Mediterranean Sea surrounding the island is crystal clear, possible to see the ocean floor with its unbelievable marine life and ecology. The sunset is picturesque as I continued my journey via boat all throughout the island. Mallorca is an island I will visit once again.

The Swedish concept of allemansrätten refers to a person’s right to access nature in Sweden. The suburb of Stockholm I live in called Årsta is especially notable for its embrace of allemansrätten thanks to its abundance of trails and gravel paths lining Årstaviken, the eastern part of Lake Mälaren. With the accessibility of these outdoor trails and other outdoor exercise areas to the general public, it’s no wonder why you can often find runners, bikers, families, teenagers, and happy dogs alike enjoying their time outdoors in Sweden.
