This week Bailey went on a class trip to London, where she toured Wimbledon. She met with the communications team there, and talked to them about incorporating sustainability into their marketing strategy through more sustainable partners and initiatives. Wimbledon is already making steps towards sustainability by being one of the only grass tennis courts. Bailey hoped to achieve climate action through these proposals and educating the marketing team there.

Jonah spent the last week working in the field in two different locations that were recently opened up to conservation work. He worked with a conservation foundation in Ecuador to trap birds, and identify and measure them. This week he will turn in a paper analyzing this data. The two birds pictured here are extremely famous species and are part of the national identity of the country. He hopes that this work identifying and studying birds creates the knowledge needed to take action in protecting these areas that have not yet been studied.
