Creating a cohesive syllabus

Based on the tools, readings, workshops, and events we’ve encountered throughout the year, participants will present full syllabuses on a topic in their discipline which integrates digital tools for participation, argumentation, or knowledge presentation.

Tuesday, April 17: Humanities as laboratories

  • Event: Field trip to either Northwestern’s Garage Design Lab or the Knight Lab

Tuesday, May 8: Syllabus presentation and critique

  • Event: Presentation and discussion of syllabus plans by one half of the group
  • Due:

    • Writings: Group A shares and presents their syllabus, including a course description, preliminary readings, assignment outline and evaluation methods, as well as a sample assignment.
