I posit that the heartbeat, the life’s blood of any metropolis flows through the medium of broadcast radio and the city of Johannesburg is no different in that regard. The power and reach of broadcast radio is unquestionable. It is estimated that around 38.3m people in South Africa listen to the radio and that 60% of the audience are in metro areas.
